A West Norfolk man has been jailed for eight and a half years after a jury convicted him of multiple sex offences against children.

Richard Rodgers, 48, of Lynn Road, St Germans, was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court last Tuesday after being found guilty of eight charges.

He was convicted on seven charges of engaging in sexual activity with children and a further count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

The offences were committed over several years, between 2006 and 2014.

Rodgers was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order, which the court ordered to continue indefinitely, in addition to his prison sentence.
