A Swaffham man who believes using cannabis should not be against the law has been fined for possession.

Irfan Ali, 38, was stopped by police in Lynn shortly after buying a quantity of the class B drug.

Lynn Magistrates’ Court was told on Thursday that he told officers that he smoked cannabis every day and he had not wanted to be stopped by them knowing that he had some on him.
