Pupils at a village primary school, which was highly rated by inspectors earlier this year, welcomed a special visitor to their classrooms this week.
That visitor was West Norfolk Mayor, and former teacher, Barry Ayres, who met youngsters at the Tilney St Lawrence Community Primary School on Tuesday.
The visit was designed to highlight the school’s successful Ofsted inspection, in which it was graded as good, in February.
The school is part of the Windmill Primary Federation, alongside the schools in Terrington St John, Walpole Highway and West Walton.
Mr Ayres is also due to visit those schools. Picture submitted
