After the sad passing of a beloved national hero yesterday, swathes of the country are in mourning for the loss of a man who was beacon of hope in dark times.

King's Lynn Residential home residents have come together to pay tribute to the late Captain and have been described by staff as 'superfans'.

Staff and residents will no doubt be taking part in the national clap announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson to honour Captain Sir Tom Moore's at 6pm tonight.

They want to send their well wishes to Tom's family at this time.
