Following last week’s picture of the infants at Snettisham Primary School, back in 1974, this week we turn the spotlight on the juniors (aged seven to 11) who were in Classes 1, 2 and 3 of the school.
At that time the juniors were taught in the original school building, with the infants in two new adjoining classrooms and also in the canteen while waiting for a mobile classroom was in place.
Another new project was a toilet block on part of the playground.
With the village playing field just next door, Snettisham was a nicely compact school, which helped both staff and the children.
