Brandon Road Methwold B1112 road overnight closures due to resurfacing

Overnight works will start on Tuesday, June 7 to carry out carriageway resurfacing works of a section of the B1112 Brandon Road at Methwold

The work, on the C873 Lynn Road and B1112 Lodge Road (IP26 4DT), will take about two nights to complete, subject to suitable weather conditions. It will be carried out overnight to minimise disruption.

Due to the nature of the work the junction onto Mundford Road and the three-way junction of Brandon Road, Lynn Road and Lodge Road will need to be closed overnight to vehicles between 7pm to 6am with a diversion in place.

The closure will be lifted outside of these hours with a 30mph speed limit being in place.

These works are required as part of routine maintenance which will see the old worn out surface completely removed and replaced with a brand new asphalt surface.

The county council thanks people for their patience while the road surface improvement works are being carried out.

The work, which will cost £50,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
