Mini Beasts on the loose in the heart of King's Lynn
Children got their feelers out to look about the Vancouver Quarter on Saturday as they went on a mini Beast adventure.
With magnifying glasses in hand, hundreds of little explorers headed to a special Mini Beast HQ on Broad Street to collect their map before searching high and low for eight creatures in the shopping centre from 10am to 3pm.
All those who found the hidden mini beasts were rewarded with a goodie bag with one lucky child set to win the ultimate mini beast explorer pack after entering a prize draw.
Abbie Panks, Vancouver Quarter centre manager, said: “it was fantastic to see so many families take to the streets to participate in the mini-beast trail.
“It was a lovely day and the feedback we’ve had from parents has been excellent – children absolutely loved it.“
There are plenty of other free family-friendly events coming up in the Vancouver Quarter, including the COSMOS Community Roadshow which runs in the centre until Sunday.
This interactive science event, which launches tomorrow, will give children the chance to enjoy hands-on exhibits along with fun drop-in activities for all the family to enjoy from 10am to 4pm each day.
As well as the monthly Saturday Clubs, next month will see the return of Fairytales and Legends before Halloween returns to Lynn town centre in October, and Santa’s grotto opens in the shopping centre on November 25.
