Norfolk Police confirm minor injuries as Swaffham road closed for four hours
Casualties suffered minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Swaffham yesterday afternoon (Monday, December 2).
Emergency services were called to the Norwich Road Roundabout at 2.16pm with casualties being released from the vehicles using hydraulic rescue equipment.
The road was closed between the North Pickenham road junction and the McDonald's roundabout.
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Police said the road was reopened four hours after the incident at 6.15pm. She also said the casualties sustained minor injuries.
The ambulance service left the scene at 4.15pm having arrived at 2.30pm.
Fire crews from Dereham, Lynn and Swaffham were called to the accident at 2.30pm and arrived on the scene 15 minutes later.
