The Post Office is introducing a mobile van service to benefit the community of Walsingham.
The mobile service is a travelling Post Office aboard a specifically-designed vehicle that brings services and retail products to communities without relying on fixed premises that has formed part of the operational network for some years.
Since the closure of these services, the Post Office have continued to try to find a solution.
The Post Office have therefore introduced a mobile service, which is a tried and tested way of maintaining service to smaller communities.
The Post Office is inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the plans in a six-week public consultation.
However, to restore Post Office services as quickly as possible, the services will start during consultation.
