More swimmers still needed for Downham Market’s first ever Swimarathon event

More teams of swimmers are still needed for Downham’s first ever Swimarathon event, which is taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 8 at the Alive Downham Leisure Pool.

Downham Rotary Club is hosting the event, between 9am and 12pm, to raise money for local charities.

Teams of up to six swimmers are still needed for the event, who will swim for one hour in a lane and are expected to raise minimum sponsorship of £20 per person for a charity of their choice, with all the money raised donated to local causes.
