More than 170 took part in West Winch masterplan consultation

People are being thanked for getting involved with the recent consultation on the West Winch Framework Masterplan.

More than 170 people attended the two drop-in sessions.

West Norfolk Council cabinet member for development and regeneration Cllr Richard Blunt said: “We are now working our way through all the submissions, both from the face-to-face sessions and online.

“This is a brilliant response. We would like to thank people for taking time to get

involved in the development of this crucial planning document.”

All the representations be reviewed, and where appropriate, changes to the masterplan will be proposed. By the end of the year a summary document collating the responses received and a statement of community consultation will be published.

A separate consultation around the design of the proposed new road at West Winch will be taking place in the next couple of months, led by Norfolk County Council. Further details will be published as soon as dates and locations are confirmed.
