Motorcyclist, 18, dies after crash with Range Rover on A149 at Snettisham




An 18-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash with a car on the A149 at Snettisham yesterday evening.

Police are appealing for information following the collision, which happened at around 5.10pm on Sunday.

Officers said two motorcyclists had been travelling together towards Hunstanton on the A149 near Snettisham roundabout, when one of the motorbikes – an orange Honda – crossed the carriageway and collided with a black Range Rover travelling in the opposite direction, towards Snettisham.

Road closures were in place for several hours, and an 18-year-old motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, the manner of driving beforehand or who has dash-cam footage to come forward.
