Five-vehicle crash in Heacham leads to multiple casualties being taken to hospital

Five people were taken to hospital following a multiple-vehicle crash yesterday.

Police were called to Lamsey Lane in Heacham at 11.53am on Sunday, close to the junction with the A149, with five vehicles involved in the collision.

The road was closed while paramedics attended the scene, while fire crews helped to make the area safe and provided casualty care.

Five people were taken to hospital with injuries, none of which were life-threatening or life-changing.

The road was cleared shortly before 3pm.
