Music-lovers flock to The Folk in the Town in King's Lynn

More than 400 people flocked to the Folk in the Town last weekend to enjoy some live entertainment.

Performers included The Shackleton Trio, Vic Allen, Schrodinger’s Strings and the Blakeney Old Wild Rovers, among more.

“He put together an impressive and varied line-up of local and regional musicians who were playing music ranging from blue grass and roots, to Americana, traditional folk and sea shanties.

“Saturday was glorious weather and many people enjoyed a picnic. Sunday saw several showers so particular thanks to the sound men and event staff for helping to keep everything in working order. A big thank you to all the bands performing.”
