Future of Black Horse Inn in Castle Rising up in air as Stonegate Group searches for new publican




The future of a village pub remains up in the air as a new face in charge is sought.

The Black Horse Inn, based on Lynn Road in Castle Rising, looks to be on the hunt for a new publican.

Stonegate Group, which owns the premises, is advertising to interested parties. The Lynn News contacted the group for comment on progress, but received no response.

Previously, Harry Sutton became the fourth generation publican in his family when he took on The Black Horse Inn in 2018.

It had been renovated in the months prior to opening back up - but did experience some issues with hot water, gas and heating in 2019, leading to intermittent opening days.
