Magdalen Academy Nativity play is outstanding

Youngsters at Magdalen Academy performed in their school nativity play on Thursday.

The staff and children at the school have a busy week ahead to prepare for.

Their festive treats start with a pantomime visit, followed by a Christingle service and a Christmas dinner.

The children performed the song Don't Be Afraid which the Friends of the School purchased for the school from Out of the Ark.

A spokesperson said: "It makes us so proud watching how well the children work together whatever their age.

"The singing and acting, as always was outstanding and we received some lovely comments from the parents."

"We wish all our children and parents a Happy Christmas and New Year and we can do it all again in 2022.

"Thank you for all your support since September and advertising our small school.

"We do so much, and it is very much appreciated that we have been able to share this with so many of your readers."
