A new bargain retailer will be opening its doors in Lynn’s Vancouver Quarter later this week.

Bargain Buys has taken over the Discount UK store in Broad Street.

West Norfolk mayor Barry Ayres will be opening the store on Friday.

The new store will provide customers with offers and a savings across 25 departments, which include branded groceries, cleaning products and homewares, pet care, gardening and toys.

As part of opening celebrations, Bargain Buys is teaming up with Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Sharon Reddington, store manager at Bargain Buys, said: “We’re delighted to be opening a store in Lynn.

“We have some incredible deals on leading brands that you won’t find cheaper elsewhere and we hope Lynn shoppers will pay us a visit to see how much they can save.

“We’re anticipating a busy opening with thousands of bargain hunters expected across the opening weekend.”

Bargain Buys is a new brand to join the UK market and it plans to open 20 stores in the next six months.

The brand was created by the same father and son team behind single-priced retailer Poundworld.
