Hunstanton's The Norfolk Deli Cafe opens on the High Street

More family members have joined the team of a Hunstanton award-winning business which has expanded with the opening of new premises.

On Tuesday The Norfolk Deli Café opened in the High Street, just round the corner from The Norfolk Deli in Greevegate owned by Mark and Rosie Kacary.

They are delighted to have their son, Toby, and his partner Chelsey Keane join the team. Also on board is their daughter, Francesca.

The cafe stands on the site previously occupied by The Wells Deli and The Wooden Gem.

Said Mark: "“We were delighted when not only Toby but his lovely partner, Chelsey, expressed a desire to come and join us.

"Toby had previously managed at Eric’s Fish & Chips, firstly in Thornham before helping to set up Eric's in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and more recently, Eric's in Holt.

"His partner Chelsey brings with her a wonderful work ethic and plenty of customer service experience to ensure our customer experience is first class.

"Our daughter Francesca is an expert baker creating foodie goodies like her festive mince pie cheesecake to name one of many items available in the café."

The cafe brings together many of the deli's favourites such as a selection of salads popular in the deli as well as a wide range of homemade cakes, cheesecakes, quiches, sausage rolls, and a smaller range of sandwiches which are all available to eat in.

With new seating, lighting and colour scheme Mark and Rosie both feel that this makes a very clear statement that they believe in the potential of Hunstanton having made an investment of about £40,000 to bring the project to fruition.

Support for local produce is at the very core of The Norfolk Deli, which offers a range of jams, wines, chutneys, ales, spirits, cheeses and oils.

Visitors to the café can enjoy photographs taken by local photographer Jon Clifton, of Snettisham, which capture images taken around North West Norfolk. These are for sale.

The café is open seven days a week, from 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.
