New hair and beauty salon offering training courses opens in Clenchwarton

A new hair and beauty salon has opened in Clenchwarton, offering private training courses along with a range of services, including hairdressing, barbering and nails.

Hayley Auker is behind Class 11 Hair, Beauty and Private Training Academy, at 162a Main Road. Mrs Auker, who also teaches at Springwood High School and the College of West Anglia, has been in the trade for 20 years.

She said: “It’s always something I’ve wanted to do, it’s been an ambition of mine. It’s in a good location, with free parking, on the main road.”

She and her staff of two full-time stylists, a beautician and a nail technician offer training courses in services such as waxing, cutting and colouring and eyelash extensions.

The salon, previously Elle’s, has all new staff and has been given a makeover of its own.
