New Downham Market Mayor Charlie Pyatt cuts Queen's Platinum Jubilee cake at Downham Preparatory School's Stow Bardolph street party

Newly elected Mayor of Downham, Charlie Pyatt, cuts the Queen's Platinum Jubilee cake at Downham Preparatory School's street party in Stow Bardolph on Thursday.

This was the Mayor's first official engagement.

The Mayor and his wife joined the children, teachers and other guests for a Jubilee lunch.

The Mayor also officially opened the Calm Canopy in the school garden.

This is a place where children can go if they want some time out in a quiet and peaceful environment.
