New pavilion in Boughton honours cricket club stalwart




A new pavilion has been named in memory of a village cricket club stalwart.

Hundreds of guests gathered in Boughton on Sunday for the official opening of the pavilion, which has been named after Alan Wilkinson.

Mr Wilkinson, who died two years ago, restarted the club 10 years ago and bought its present ground, leasing it to the club for £10 a year.
