New King's Lynn Post Office branch at Tranquility, London Road, opens in July
The Post Office is set to re-open South Lynn Post Office at a new location.
This will be at Tranquility crystal shop, 50 London Road, King's Lynn, PE30 5QH. The new South Lynn branch will be located only 40 metres from the former branch at 58 London Road and is scheduled to open on Tuesday, July 5.
When the move goes ahead, the branch will open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am-5pm. This will offer 40 hours of post office service every week.
Matthew Hatfull, Post Office network provision lead, said: “We know how important a Post Office is to residents and businesses and we are delighted to be reopening a Post Office in South Lynn.
“We are keen to restore services to the community as soon as possible, so we have decided to go ahead with our plans.”
Although the decision to reopen the branch has already been taken the Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move.
The opportunity to give feedback specifically related to access to the new branch will close on June 15. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 180131.
