New role for well-known West Norfolk village figure




A long-serving West Norfolk lay minister has been formally ordained as a deacon this week.

Carol Nicholas-Letch, pictured above with colleagues, was installed during a service at the All Saints’ Church in Wretton on Sunday afternoon.

The service was attended by the Bishop of Ely, the Rt Rev Stephen Conway.

Mrs Nicholas-Letch has been ministering in the Fincham and Feltwell Deanery for more than 10 years.

She also serves as chaplain to the All Saints Academy in Stoke Ferry.

She is due to be ordained as a priest at a service in Ely later this year. MLNF-19AF03416
