The Warehouse Norfolk at Setchey launches new markets venture

A new Farmers’ and Craft Market is being launched at the site of a West Norfolk business which last year suffered complex fire damage to a kitchen area.

The Warehouse Norfolk in Setchey launches the venture on Saturday, May 3 from 9am to 4pm at the Garage Lane site in Setchey.

Following the launch, the markets will be held on the first Saturday of every month showcasing a selection of fresh farmers’ produce, handcrafted gifts, artisan foods and more.

In addition to browsing the stalls, visitors will be able to enjoy beer tasting with a selection of locally and nationally brewed beers, gin tasting with Lynn’s WhataHoot Distillery, purchase food from traders and there is a children’s play area to keep youngsters amused.

The Warehouse Taproom Restaurant is still closed following last October’s blaze which caused substantial damage to the kitchen but open to customers are Beers of Europe and The Warehouse antiques and collectables businesses.

A spokesperson said: “With the launch of the farmers and craft markets, The Warehouse Norfolk is further expanding its offering as a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.”
