Updated tribute to Swaffham motorcyclist Nathan Rowland issued after inquest opens into death on B1108 at Little Cressingham
An updated tribute to a motorcyclist who died in a crash last year has been issued.
Following the opening on an inquest into the death of Swaffham resident Nathan Rowland, who died in a collision on the B1108 in Little Cressingham last year, his family has spoken of the "impossible" task of learning to live without him.
The 31-year-old father-of-two passed away after colliding with a Volkswagen Sharan which was travelling in the opposite direction to him on June 2.
His mother Julie said: "Nathan, known by many as 'FatRat', was a hard working, outgoing, caring man who loved life.
"He would do anything for his family and never failed to make us smile. He was an amazing daddy who doted on his two beautiful little girls.
"Losing Nathan has left us with such a sad emptiness that can never be filled.
"Nine months on, there simply are no words to explain our loss. Learning to live in a world without Nathan is impossible.
"Our lives can never and will never be the same again but we will keep his memory alive for his girls, and love and protect them the way he would have done."
"Nathan's message to us all would be - 'live life to its fullest, treasure special memories' and (as he often told us) 'don't worry, be happy'."
