The Big C cancer charity, which has a base in Lynn, has appointed a new chief executive.
Chris Bushby has taken up the role, after 20 years as executive director of the Suffolk Agricultural Association.
Mr Bushby described his appointment as a “privilege”, adding: “I join the organisation at an exciting time of change and celebration.
“We are able to build on the strong foundation of frontline cancer support services, medical research and retail which has been established over the last 35 years by the trustees, volunteers and staff making Big C a name to be trusted.”
The charity, which was founded in 1980, currently runs four support and information centres, including one in Norfolk Street, Lynn.
The site is also home to one of the charity’s nine shops across the county.
