Norfolk Police have issued a reminder to store owners following a post office burglary in Litcham.
It incident happened at Litcham Post Office in Church Street at around 5.15pm on Thursday, when two males entered the store, distracted a member of staff and took hundreds of pounds in cash and a number of cheques from the till.
Sgt Dan Oakenfold said: “Post offices tend to be targeted for distraction burglaries so I would like to remind owners and staff members at our local post office stores to be on their guard to anyone attempting to commit this kind of offence.
“Our investigation into the Litcham burglary continues and we would welcome any contact from the public if they have any information regarding it.”
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information regarding it.
