North Lynn man admits drink-driving on A47

A North Lynn man has been banned from the roads after admitting dangerous driving while three times the alcohol limit.

Luis Duarte, 30, committed the offences on the A47 at East Winch on November 6 last year.

No details about the matters were given when he appeared before Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday as he denied a third charge of assault in Swaffham on the same date.

That matter has been set down for trial on April 13 when he will be sentenced for the other offences.

Duarte, of Woolstencroft Avenue, pleaded guilty dangerous driving in a Vauxhall Insignia.

He also admitted drink-driving with 113 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

The bench imposed an interim disqualification and granted Duarte bail with conditions not to contact the alleged assault victim and not to enter Orford Place in Swaffham.
