Man still in custody following stabbing in North Lynn




A man remains in police custody this morning following a stabbing in North Lynn yesterday.

Officers were called at around 12.35pm on Tuesday, after reports that a man had been attacked in Riversway.

The victim sustained serious injuries and remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Norfolk Police confirmed a short time ago that a man in his 30s, who was arrested in connection with the incident, is still being held at the force's investigation centre at Saddlebow.

Detective Inspector Mick Roxby said: "Officers are continuing with the enquiries to establish the exact circumstances which led up to this incident.

"However, we do believe those involved are known to each other.

"We know this kind of incident can cause concerns within the local community and officers will be conducting reassurance patrols in the area over the coming days.”
