One person taken to King’s Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital after crash on A47 at Terrington St John




One person was taken to hospital after a crash on the A47 at Terrington St John yesterday evening.

Police were on the scene - with paramedics also called to reports of the collision at around 5.40pm - and said the westbound carriageway would likely be shut for “several hours”.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route until it reopened at around 10.24pm.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.42pm on Thursday 21 November to a road traffic collision on the A47 near Terrington St John.

“One ambulance attended the scene and transported one patient to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”

Norfolk Police has been approached for comment.
