One person has been taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital and 29 are being assessed after a chemical leak at Lynn’s College of West Anglia.
Three fire engines were called to the scene, along with police and ambulances, at 11.15am.
The ambulance service were treating a number of patients suffering from breathing difficulties.
Two response cars, an ambulance, an ambulance officer, the hazardous area response team (HART) and Magpas air ambulance attended.
One person has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for further assessment and care, but is not thought to be in a life-threatening condition.
At this stage it’s not anticipated that any other patients will need further treatment at hospital.
Tennyson Avenue has been closed by police, who are managing traffic.
The incident is being treated as an accident.
