Residents of Boughton opened their gardens to the public at the weekend for their annual open gardens event, held in aid of the village’s All Saints Church.
Dozens of visitors had the chance to tour 15 gardens, while lunches were available in the church itself.
Organisers estimate the day raised around £1,300 for the maintenance of the church, which also acts as a village hall.
Church warden Pam Wakeling said they were “very pleased” with the response to the event, which is the church’s main annual fundraiser, amid poor weather on the day. She also thanked everyone who took part in or supported the event.
