Customers are being encouraged to call the Specsavers store on 01553 692604 if they need urgent support with a visual problem, or if they have issues with their glasses, contact lenses or hearing aids.

Last week, the team were able to help a local police officer from Lynn, who required an urgent fix on his spectacles.
Gurvinder Tatra, store director in Lynn, said: "We’re grateful to have had the capacity to remain open during this difficult period, and we’re proud of the help we’ve been able to provide.
"It’s been an honour supporting frontline workers such as the police, in continuing their vital work in protecting us from the virus, as well as providing access to those in isolation to professional optical and audiology health services.
"We want the local community to know that, while we are closed for routine appointments at the present time, we are still very much here to support people with their essential eye and hearing care needs, and to make sure they can see and hear healthily whilst staying at home – so please give us a call if you need us."
Specsavers' teams are classed as key workers to provide urgent and essential eye care to those who need it. This includes supporting other key workers who couldn’t function without their help and people who would come to harm without their health expertise, especially where the usual hospital services and NHS facilities are being prioritised for the fight against COVID-19.
