The Purfleet Trust had a double celebration on Saturday - to mark The Queen's jubilee and also to launch a booklet created by its clients.

The booklet, entitled Pathways, contains visual interpretations of locations that were important to them.

The project was funded by the Arts Council and brought together with collaboration of the Workshop creative hub at Lynn, community producer Natalie Songer and illustrator Charli Vince.

A guest at the launch was West Norfolk borough mayor Lesley Bambridge.

Pathway is a project which aims the spotlight on the individual ways people map their surroundings, especially those people who have or are experiencing homelessness.

The jubilee celebration and the launch had been intended as a street party but the poor weather meant the event had to move indoors at the Trust's Lynn base at Pathway House, Austin Fields.

Jo Wylie, of the Purfleet Trust who was organiser, said: “Thank you to everyone who took part and to local businesses and organisations who contributed.”
