Organisers hope a village fun day in Dersingham will return to its former glory and expand after its first year at a new home.
This year’s event was held at the sports field on Manor Road (near the Feathers), replacing the previous base at Hunstanton Road, where the fun day had taken place for a number of years.
Parish clerk Sarah Bristow said: “This year’s event wasn’t as well supported as we would have liked it to be but hopefully it will be onwards and upwards from here.
“We’ve got several volunteers who have formed a sub and events committee and we would like to grow and build the event up to how it used to be.
“We’re hoping to have a bit more structure in place. Going forward, we are looking at a dog show, as well as having more things under cover in marquues and tents.”
A number of organisations, including the Dersingham PTA and Cricket Club, in the village were involved in the spectacular, which saw a constant stream of people throughout the day.
The fun day for all of the family included inflatables, a bouncy castle, a bungee ride barbeque, a bar, face painting, tombola, homemade fudge, cakes, coffee, disco, sweets, craft, sports taster sessions and lots more.
