In-form King’s Lynn Town Reserves will be hoping for a bumper crowd when they host Team Bury at The Walks tonight (7.45pm).

Lynn’s second string have now gone seven games unbeaten to move up to sixth in the Thurlow Nunn Division One table.

On Saturday, Robbie Palmer took his tally to eight goals in his last four games, while a Ben Coe effort and an own goal completed a comfortable 3-0 success over Cornard.

“Playing bottom of the table is sometimes difficult, but I thought we managed the game in a very mature way,” said Reserves boss Jon Hawes.

“We didn’t let complacency creep in and a clean sheet was very pleasing.

“It’s important that we approach Tuesday in the same way as the away fixture was very tough and no one comes to The Walks to lie down.

“We must work hard to continue our good run. We are now seven games unbeaten and I’ve challenged the players to win the next two games at home.”

Depending on how both Yarmouth and Swaffham Town fare in their midweek fixtures, three points against Team Bury could lift Hawes’ charges up to third in the league table.
