Part of Jubilee Road in Heacham to be closed and temporary traffic lights in place for 8-week, £66,000 pavement works




One lane of a village road will be closed for around eight weeks and temporary traffic lights in place while £66,000 pavement reconstruction and resurfacing work is carried out.

Norfolk County Council says work will begin at Jubilee Road in Heacham on or shortly after Monday, November 4, weather permitting.

The damaged surface will be removed and replaced with a new one and the works are expected to take approximately eight weeks to complete, subject to suitable weather conditions.

The works will be carried out in phases to help minimise disruption. To ensure that they are completed safely, one lane will be closed to through traffic for the entire duration and traffic controlled by temporary lights. Access for residents will be maintained at all times.
