Paws for Thought: Can you find Patch a loving home?
Here’s our weekly Paws For Thought feature by staff from the RSPCA rehoming centre…
Patch came to us a few weeks ago - he is ten years old and needs to be the only pet.
He was underweight and in a lot of pain with his teeth. He was understandably scared and worried, but he has now had a dental, put on some weight and is feeling a lot more comfortable.
Patch is an older boy but he still loves to play, enjoys long walks exploring his environment and he is extremely clean in his kennel.
Patch can still be a little wary of people he doesn’t know, but quickly comes around and is very affectionate and jumps on you for fuss.
Patch will need a quiet home with a settled routine, someone who has some experience of nervous dogs and who is at home for the majority of the day whilst he settles, and a 6 ft fenced secured garden.
