Paws for Thought: June 15, 2018

This week’s featured animal in need of a home is River.

Staff at the West Norfolk RSPCA’s Eau Brink rehoming centre said: “Isn’t she a stunning girl? Not only does she look the part but she also has the personality to match. She is still only young and is finding kennel life a bit bewildering.

“River hasn’t been with us long and is still getting to know the staff and volunteers, each day she is gaining more and more confidence with us all.

“She has come to us from a home through no fault of her own, just a change in the family’s circumstances. At nine months old, she is still a puppy and will benefit from further training and socialising with other dogs.

“River already knows the basic commands and is willing to learn more. She’s an energetic young girl and loves to sprint around our compound and get out for long walks so she will need a family that can keep up with her.

“She could live with another dog, pending a successful meet and greet at the centre.”
