Police appeal launched after Fakenham’s Shell petrol station burgled




A petrol station was burgled in the early hours of this morning, prompting police to appeal for witnesses.

Officers were called to the Shell branch on Fakenham’s Creake Road after it was discovered the premises had been broken into.

The garage was closed until around 2pm while investigations were carried out.

A witness told the Lynn News that the incident, which took place between 1.20am and 1.35am, caused damage to a back entrance. Vapes were also understood to be missing from the shop.

Norfolk Police believe the culprits could have left the area via the woodland near the garage and is asking anyone with information, CCTV, or doorbell footage to come forward.
