Lincolnshire Co-op pharmacy in Hunstanton reopens after structural damage

A pharmacy has reopened after safety measures were put in place to combat structural damage.

The Lincolnshire Co-op pharmacy at Valentine Road, Hunstanton, closed earlier this week - with patients voicing concerns over where to pick up their prescriptions.

However, the premises did reopen earlier in the week.

Marc Brooks, head of pharmacy at Lincolnshire Co-op, told the Lynn News: "Over the weekend, structural damage was caused to our Hunstanton Pharmacy.

"We had to close on Monday while an engineer assessed the safety of site and put structural supports in place. We reopened on Tuesday morning.

"While we were closed, we worked with the local surgery and nearby pharmacies to ensure patients were able to collect prescriptions."

The Lynn News asked for information on how the structural damage was caused, but none was provided.
