A piglet which had found its way onto a road was rescued by Hunstanton officers yesterday (Tuesday, July 25).

After saving the young pig using a traffic cone, the animal was reunited with its family.

Officers took to Twitter yesterday to tell of the rescue mission and said: “Hunstanton officers rescued a piglet loose in the road earlier this evening.

“Now reunited with its family #PC1292.”
