Plans have been submitted to build a new warehouse in Crimplesham.

Paul Curson Pallets has applied to West Norfolk Council to put up a building on land in New Road.

The firm, which has been based at the site for nearly two decades, would use the proposed building for the repair, storage and distribution of the pallets.

The application’s design and access statement says: “A simple straight forward industrial unit, the main views of which are fairly well screened, on a site enjoying an established use on an existing industrial area.

“Intended to be wholly functional and practical, it will assist a thriving business in going forward.”

The building, which will based on a steel frame, will be 18m x15m.

The proposal will allow an enclosed storage area for the pallets, which are used in the food industry.

The application states that the repairing of the pallets is a minor activity which would take place at the site.
