Police appeal after rider dies in Great Massingham crash




An investigation has been launched after a motorcyclist died in a crash at a West Norfolk road junction at the weekend.

Emergency crews were called to the B1145 at its junction with Roman Road in Great Massingham at around 1.10pm on Sunday, following a collision involving a silver Vauxhall Meriva and a red Honda motorbike.

The rider of the Honda, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed or may have dash cam footage of the collision, or who may have seen the manner of driving of either vehicle beforehand to come forward.

Witnesses are asked to contact Norfolk Police's Serious Collision Investigation Team, via the non-emergency 101 number, quoting incident reference NC-22052022-180.
