Appeal after First World War statue stolen from East Rudham

Police have this afternoon appealed for witnesses following the theft of a commemorative First World War statue from a West Norfolk village.

Officers say the metal statue of an army soldier was taken from the roadside in East Rudham sometime between 7pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

Anyone who may have seen the incident, or who has information, is asked to contact PC Keith Kenny in Op Solve on 101 quoting crime reference 36/77691/21.
