Police appeal after woman assaulted in Swaffham




Witnesses are being sought after a woman was assaulted in Swaffham Market Place last week.

Norfolk Police say the incident happened on Tuesday, October 22 around 3.25pm.

A woman was reportedly pushed by a man who went on to damage her car.

The woman was not injured.

Officers attended the scene and a man was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage, threats to kill and being drunk and disorderly.

He was questioned at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre and released on bail until Monday, November 11 while enquiries continue.
