Police seek witnesses to fatal crash on A47 at Wendling, between Swaffham and Dereham




Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 70s died in a crash on the A47 earlier this week.

Officers said a white Nissan Qashqai collided with hedgerow after leaving the road at Wendling, between Swaffham and Dereham, at around 1.23pm on Monday.

The A47 was closed while emergency services attended the scene, including paramedics and firefighters.

The driver of the Qashqai, a man aged in his 70s, died at the scene.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
