Police called to A10 at West Winch and Setchey after animal found on road twice in one night

Police were twice called to a busy road after an animal was found on the loose.

Officers were called to the A10 at West Winch yesterday evening after reports of an animal – believed to be a cow – on the road just after 9pm.

Upon speaking with the owner, it was returned back to its field.

However, just after midnight, officers were called back to the road – this time at Setchey – where officers discovered that the animal had escaped once again.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Police says that they “again spoke to the farmer about returning the animal”.
