Police helicopters and forensics spotted in Downham Market

Police helicopters and forensic teams have been spotted in Downham after eyewitnesses saw an arrest on Bulrush Avenue.

Two men were seen being arrested by police but one of them reportedly "ran off"according to an eyewitness.

It is believed that someone has been "seriously hurt" but this has yet to be confirmed by police.

An armed response team and drones have also been seen in the town around 8pm last night.

Police have been contacted for comment.
