Police hunt King's Lynn bleach attackers




A women driving a car in Lynn yesterday was attacked with bleach.

Police said the frightening incident happened at about 1.15pm when a silver Toyota was being driven on the A149 between the Hardwick roundabout, towards the Queen Elizabeth Hospital roundabout.

A woman in her 20s was sitting in the driving seat with the window open when she was hit with liquid thrown by the occupant of a passing car. It was later established that the liquid was bleach.

The victim received treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, however her injuries were not serious.

The police are appealing for witnesses to an assault. The offending vehicle is believed to have been burgundy in colour.
